What this site collects

This website is an information site for the Serilingampally constituency office. Visiting a page does not ask for your name, phone number or any other personal detail.

If you choose to submit a grievance through the contact form, the office records the details you type in: your name, mobile number, email address if you provide one, and the message you write. This information is held only so that the complaint can be tracked to a reference number and answered.

Why it is collected, and how long it is kept

• Purpose: to register, forward and answer your grievance, and to report on the number and nature of complaints received.
• Lawful basis: your consent, given when you tick the consent box on the form.
• Retention: records are kept for as long as the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, then deleted.
• Sharing: details are shared only with the Telangana government department or municipal body that must act on the complaint. They are not sold, and not shared for marketing.

Messages and your consent

The contact form asks for your consent to receive SMS, RCS and WhatsApp messages. By consenting, you agree that the office may use your mobile number on any of these channels to reply to the grievance you have raised, and to send you status updates until that grievance is closed.

Your consent covers the specific grievance you submitted. It is not a blanket subscription to messages, and it does not extend to any other number you may hold. Consent is recorded for each channel separately, so a withdrawal for one channel can be honoured without discarding the grievance record. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to the office asking to be removed; once withdrawn, no further messages will be sent.

Message frequency: status updates are sent only while your grievance is open, and one closing message when it is resolved. The office does not send marketing or promotional messages to numbers collected through this form.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser's IP address is visible to that service when a page loads; if you prefer to avoid that, the site falls back to system fonts and remains readable.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask the office to confirm what personal data it holds about you, to correct it, to complete it, to update it, or to erase it, and you may nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. To make any such request, contact the constituency office using the details on the Contact section and mention "Data protection request" in the subject.
